Eng. Gregory I. Zhirov is a researcher in the field of hydrogen treatment of materials. He graduated from a Metallurgical College by specialization "Production of Steel", worked at the Metallurgical Plant. In 1998 he graduated from the Donetsk State Technical University (DonSTU) as an Engineer and later got the Master Degree. Then he joint Physics Department of the DonSTU. Now he achievely studies hydride phase transformations near the cupola region of the Pd-H system. G.I. Zhirov is married. His hobbies are sport, fishing, gardening, and the like.
