Björgvin Hjörvarsson received his Ph.D. in materials science from Uppsala University 1990. He currently holds a faculty position at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. His research activities include hydrogen in materials, magnetic properties of thin films and superlattices, and growth and characterization of advanced thin film materials.
