Yu.A. Artemenko graduated from the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute in 1979 and since that time he has been working at Physics Department of the DonSTU, now as an Associate Professor. In 1994 he received his Doctor Degree in the field of Materials Science. He has published more than 50 scientific works. The main direction of his investigations is kinetic and morphological peculiarities of hydride transformations in the Pd¢?"H system. He is married, has two sons. His hobbies are tourism, fishing, cooking, playing and listening music.
