On Hydrogen Treatment of Materials under the auspices of the IAHE
Professor Victor A.Goltsov graduated from the Ural Polytechnic Institute (UPI), Sverdlovsk (1958); worked in industry, Omsk (1958-60), in UPI, Sverdlovsk (1960-73), since 1973 till now he is Head of Physics Department of the Donetsk State Technical University. All the life he has been working in the field of interaction of hydrogen with materials; published more than 400 works; worked out a new paradigm of Materials Science. Being one of the founders of Hydrogen Treatment of Materials he has formulated its fundamentals and classification, made and makes a great deal for a wide entering this novel field of Materials Science into the life.
Since 1990 he is Academician of International Engineering Academy, which awarded him with an honorary title 'Outstanding Engineer of the 21st century' (2000). Professor V.A.Goltsov is a Member of Board of Directors of International Association for Hydrogen Energy. He is presented (2000) ‘with the IAHE Rudolf E. Erren Award for Outstanding Contribution to Hydrogen Energy in General and to Hydrogen Treatment of Materials in Particular'.
