Studying abroad

The possibilities of studying at foreign universities are provided by student  mobility. Student mobility is an opportunity to study at a foreign university, which trains specialists of the chosen speciality, during one or more terms while being a Ukrainian university student. The credits earned at a foreign university are considered as ones earned at a Ukrainian university. Nowadays, the motivated students of a State Higher Education Institution Donetsk National Technical University can get experience in a fundamentally different system of higher education. The university cooperation is based on its partnership with foreign universities, which enables our students to participate in international educational programs.

There are some other possibilities that sudents are able to get by virtue of student mobility, which are as follows:

  • Gaining additional knowledge in related fields;
  • Using modern technical equipment in foreign educational laboratories and research centres for performing a task;
  • Mastering a foreign language;
  • Acquiring professional experience during internships at foreign companies or during internships in scientific laboratories (centres);
  • Getting to know the foreign culture, history, customs of the country and friendly people;
  • Getting a diploma of one of the leading foreign universities and a diploma of  Donetsk National Technical University.

Thanks to the grant program «Cosmopolitan Project Foundation», which was started for displaced universities, students can continue their studies according to their speciality at universities of the EU. In 2016 five students of Donetsk National Technical University are going to study in accordance with that program. The students selected by the committee of the international project are as follows: Alina Bachurina (Economic Cybernetics), Valeriya Bozhko (International Economics), Inna Yermolenko (Personnel Management and Labour Economics), Olexandr Lashok (Management), Valentin Hast (Telecommunications).
